Dual chambers also mean dual power, maximizing torque and horsepower for the engine and assuring more power than the ordinary AEM cold air systems.The dual chamber intake uses two varied diameters and piping lengths to create sound waves that have varied frequencies, which aid in charging the cylinders with additional air, enabling them to perform better than the old cold air systems. AEM has also discovered that the length of the intakes’ inlet plays an important role in the production of power in cold air systems with dual chambers.
