E-Statements Vulnerable To Hacking?

It’s true that with identity theft being more and more widespread, e-banking and e-statements is the way to go to make sure that there’s less paper trail of your transactions and less chances of other people getting hold of your information.  But with hacking and data theft also getting more popular, there are some concerns arising about e-statements and e-banking. 

There are some things you can do to lessen the chances of your online account being accessed by someone else.  Always log out of your account after doing your online transactions, especially if you’re doing it in an Internet cafe, and if you are using a public computer, it might also be a good idea to clear the cache before you go.  Also check the address on your browser to make sure you don’t get phished.
