The Types of Bathtubs
There are a variety of small bathtubs such as copper, wooden, acrylic, and cast iron. Copper tubs are an excellent choice when you want a luxurious look in your bathroom. Copper bathtubs are clean and resistant to bacteria. If you want a unique look, a wooden bathtub might be the right choice for you. Wood and water usually results in a warped combination of unusable wood. However, hardwoods or a fiberglass coating can keep the wood in good condition. Acrylic tubs are light weight and less expensive than some of the others. Cast irons are durable and heavy, and the weight combined with water is a consideration if it is installed on the second floor.
