Unsightly Blemish
When my husband proposed the idea of getting a rain water tank, I was appalled. I didn’t want that unsightly blemish sitting on the side of the house, looking like some distillery being run from the garage. When he explained that I could actually get one that went underground, I threw a temper tantrum! I didn’t want anyone digging up my garden either! After realizing that it was the only way to have keep water during the hot months when the well was dry, I begrudginly agreed. I didn’t want to have it hanging around outside, but the deliveryman that installed it was nice enough to at least burry the thing in the back garden where nobody would see it.
