The .9999 fine American Gold buffalo coin, new kid on the block

The newish American gold buffalo coin first started minting in 2006 by the United States Mint, it caught my attention. These bullion coins don’t quite have the following of the brother coin, the Gold American eagle, however, the eagles have had quite some time to gather a loyal group of followers.

The real competition of the Gold buffalo is the Canadian Maple leaf. The maple leaf is also a .9999 fine gold coin, but again the Canadian maple has had a good deal more time to build a following. The beauty of this coin is really impressive. I encourage you to buy at least one to augment your gold bullion collection.
